What is a plot generator?
A plot generator is a tool that writes a story outline from a genre and a few ideas. You name the genre, add any characters, places or twists you want, and pick a length. It returns a plot in a few paragraphs that you can change, cut or build on.
How do I come up with a story plot?
Start with a character who wants something and a reason they can't have it. Raise the stakes in the middle, force a hard choice near the end, and show what it costs. Most plots are variations on that shape. Your details make it yours.
