# Postel

> Postel is an AI writing and scheduling tool for X (Twitter) and LinkedIn. It drafts posts in your own voice from your ideas, videos and articles, and schedules them to your X account and your personal LinkedIn profile.

Postel is made for people who post as themselves: founders, consultants, creators and small teams. It is not a general social media management suite.

## Key facts

- Platforms: X (Twitter) and LinkedIn, plus Bluesky and Mastodon.
- X: posts, threads with media, and posts to X Communities.
- LinkedIn: personal profiles only. Text up to 3,000 characters with up to 20 images, one MP4 video or one document (PDF, PowerPoint or Word), plus an optional first comment. No company pages, and no LinkedIn analytics yet.
- Writing: drafts in the user's own voice, from a voice profile built on their X timeline or a public LinkedIn profile, and from a knowledge base of their topics and background.
- Repurposing: turns YouTube videos, reels, articles and voice notes into posts.
- Adapt: converts an X post or thread into a LinkedIn post; each version is edited and scheduled separately.
- Weekly drafts: on Professional and Team, Postel writes X and LinkedIn posts and LinkedIn carousels into a Review queue each week; the user approves, edits or skips each one before anything is scheduled.
- Approvals: an optional approval step for teams and agencies, on every plan.
- Analytics: post and follower analytics for X, Bluesky and Mastodon on paid plans. LinkedIn analytics are waiting on LinkedIn's approval.
- Research: a searchable library of high-performing X posts ("Viral Outliers"), filterable by topic, impressions and account size.
- Scheduling: weekly posting slots, schedule-to-next-slot, and a calendar with month, week, day and list views, shared across all connected platforms.
- MCP server: a hosted server at https://www.postel.app/api/mcp lets Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients draft, schedule and publish posts. It supports OAuth 2.1 and API keys. - Postel does not offer: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or Threads publishing, a social inbox, or social listening.

- Starter: $19/month billed yearly, or $29 month to month. 100 AI generations per month, 1 seat.
- Professional: $29/month billed yearly, or $49 month to month. 300 AI generations per month, 3 seats.
- Paid plans start with a 7-day trial, activated for $1.
- Both paid plans include AI writing, the viral post library, the knowledge base, and scheduling and publishing to every supported platform.
- A free plan with a small monthly generation quota exists; scheduling and publishing need a paid plan or trial.
